The Container is a Film!
And a rather marvellous one too. It is available on pay for view here and looks stunning. I have to confess I was worried that no film could come close to the experience of being locked in a real shipping container, but they have done an amazing job.
In other news, the reviews for The Container and link to an interview with me on CNN can be found here.
I have several projects on the offing for next year. As soon as they are confirmed you will read it here first!
The Container is back!

Enclosed in a freight container somewhere in Europe, five people huddle together with a common aim. Reach England. Start a new life. Can they rely on each other? And how far will each of them go to get what they want?
You can read a paper to know people smuggling happens. But watch The Container and it becomes a reality, putting faces and voices alongside stories of hope and sacrifice.
When Tom directed Clare Bayley's play at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2007 it won a Fringe First and the Amnesty Freedom of Expression Award. Now it's back in a sea container
parked outside the Young Vic and with each performance seating just 28 people it's expected to sell out fast!
Not suitable for those with a dislike of enclosed spaces.

Vivid Dreams Productions Presents
THE DOORBELLS OF FLORENCE
Ring a random doorbell. Who answers?
A
collection of photographs of real doorbells in Florence. Stories of
failed detectives and fated love, chance encounters and a secret
beneath the floorboards. Two unnamed storytellers take you on a journey
through a strange and mystical Italian city not unlike our own. Step
through the doorway and discover new worlds.
Wandering around
Florence on holiday, Andrew Losowsky started to take pictures of
doorbells. He put the images on photo site Flickr, each one accompanied
with a short story detailing the life of the supposed inhabitant. This
started the online writing genre 'Flicktion', and the stories went on
to win the Blooker award for Fiction in 2007. The stories are now being
put on stage by award-winning director Tom Wright.
Adapted from an award-winning book, The Doorbells of Florence is a performance of raw storytelling at its very best.
